In the 10 years since I was assaulted, I have spent more than 1,000 hours serving as a victims advocate, attending trainings and conferences, and learning from the very best in the field. This foundational work, combined with my 20 years of strategic communications and media relations experience, as well as my first-hand experience as a Division I athlete and administrator, provides me the confidence, know-how and ability to address matters of sexual and interpersonal violence appropriately and in a trauma-informed, thoughtful manner.

I’ve been at the forefront of advocating for Americans sexually assaulted or abused overseas. I fight to bring attention to the lack of funding and services for these underserved victims while raising awareness about the complexities of the issue. I am President of Pathways to Safety International and continue to raise crucial funds to serve Americans harmed in dozens of countries every year.
