A Song to Make You Smile (I hope)…

Just a quick note to share. I stumbled upon a pretty little song that, at first listen, I breezed by on my iPod. And now, I am totally charmed by it. It’s called “Walt Grace’s Submarine Test, January 1967″ by John Mayer on his Born and Raised album. And it’s a lovely nod to the human spirit and the simplicity in having an idea and the passion to pursue it doggedly despite having people tell you that you can’t or shouldn’t succeed.  I appreciate the notion and I can almost see the man described by Mayer’s words. It’s just something I wanted to tell you about because it made me smile. And in this world where so much music is about truly depressing things, I found it sweet, light and inspirational.  Thought maybe some of you could use that; I know I did.
