Kind of a Cool Stat

Three years ago today, I purchased the domain name to my site and began my blog. I had worked on editorial content for the hoped-for-blog for several weeks after keeping notes during 2009 and 2010. I remember sitting up at night, researching ‘blog etiquette’ and whatnot worried that I would make a misstep that would screw up my good intentions. I am pretty sure I have violated a few of etiquette rules by now. And I recall how nervous I was about blogging on a very specific and difficult part of my life. And now, it’s been three years. Lots of breaks here and there as my perspective evolves and my knowledge increases, I know. But, we’re still here. Happy anniversary!

I’m Keri

I’ve been at the forefront of advocating for Americans sexually assaulted or abused overseas. I fight to bring attention to the lack of funding and services for these underserved victims while raising awareness about the complexities of the issue. I am President of Pathways to Safety International and continue to raise crucial funds to serve Americans harmed in dozens of countries every year.
