D.C. Happened and Rocked My World

Posting now simply to acknowledge I owe much longer missives this weekend about the glorious 36 hours I spent in D.C. lobbying for Pathways to Safety International.

I spoke at Whittemore House to the American Foreign Service Workers organization and to the Woman’s National Democratic Club and alongside my new friend Dulce Mange:

I sat for a documentary film interview about our founder, Paula Lucas:

I spoke at an AFI event exploring The Color Purple:

I appeared on ABC7’s Good Morning Washington:

I raced to the Russell Senate Building for our first Congressional briefing about the work Pathways does and the funding it so desperately needs and deserves:

And I ended my day speaking to people gathered at the LiveSafe offices in Arlington, Va., where we demonstrated our exclusive app.

Had a blast at LiveSafe and met the coolest people. Longest. Day. Ever.  More to come when I get my energy back!
