I’ll be part of a one-hour special today at 2 p.m. ET on HLN focusing on violence against women. I taped my personal story with the producers two weeks ago, and then, I participated in a panel of experts last week. I’m curious to see how I’m edited into the special, and if what I had to say during the discussion portion came across properly. I enjoyed the experience even if wearing 10 layers of makeup was a foreign feeling. And I hope to continue exploring ways to participate in the larger discussion about sexual assault and abuse.
