Happy to share the news that I will be speaking about Pathways to Safety International at the Foreign Association of Women’s Clubs Overseas (FAWCO) Biennial Conference in Edinburgh, Scotland, on March 23. I will Skype into the session unless my schedule frees up for travel there. FAWCO has been a longstanding partner of Pathways as FAWCO’s membership comprises American women living overseas.
Back in November 2018, I was scheduled for an evening speaking engagement in Rome, Italy, with the FAWCO Rome club, but the sudden death of my beloved dog, Bentley, had me return home almost as soon as I had landed. In some ways, it was hard to make that decision, and in others, not hard at all.
Increasing my international speaking engagements is a goal of mine for 2019 and beyond. We must continue to expand the conversation on violence against women.
